Set and run by GGEO trustees, the first session of the Goring Repair Café was on 1 April 2023 in Goring Village Hall and was deemed a success. At our first event, 15 experienced repairers with a wide range of skills each had a workstation in the main hall. Over 150 visitors came in, and 60% of the 61 items brought in were repaired.

Events are held six times per year on the first Saturday of even-numbered months in Goring Village Hall between 10 am- 12.30 pm. On average, 12 or so repairers are on duty with another 12 support volunteers who run the café service and help run the service.
